    The mosaic canary birds are a small passerine bird belonging to the genus Serinus in the finch family, Fringillidae. However, it is native to the Canary Islands, the Azores, and Madeira. Socially, mosaic canaries do very well without help from anyone else. Pet mosaic canaries are lovable and can surely make you smile despite frustrations going on in your life! 


    The Mosaic Canaries are small songbirds in the finch family. They are originated from the Macaronesian Islands, including the Canary Islands.


    They have a very sweet voice and sings a melodious song. The song is a silvery twittering, likewise to the songs of the serin and citril finch.


    The mosaic canary loves to eat seeds, greens, fruits, and other nutritious dried egg food.


    Breeding occurs several times a year with 3-5 eggs per clutch. However, the young birds usually leave the nest within 2-3 weeks after hatching. Their eggs are incubated for 13–14 days, and the young birds leave the nest after 14–21 days, most commonly after 15–17 days.
